Posted - 10/29/2015 : 18:00:00 A lot of Blues fans wanted someone with more experience when Rowett took over and look what he has done there. At least JE has done his apprenticeship and came through non league & leagues 1 & 2. |

Posted - 10/29/2015 : 17:59:28 If Justin Edinburgh does not come to us, mark my words he will be managing in the prem within a year (2 at the most).
He is in the same mould as Rowett. Done his time in non league and learnt the hard way.
May be a bit too soon for him as I think he should finish what he started at Gillingham and get them into the championship alongside JFH's Burton.
But he is going places. |

Posted - 10/29/2015 : 17:33:26 The board are taking a massive risk with the future of our club by such a risky & ridiculous appointment when common sense dictates that we are crying out for a manager with proven experience in the Premier League. Moyes, Pulis, Koeman, Laudrup, Rodgers to name just a few. Take your pick. UTV. |

Posted - 10/29/2015 : 17:08:32 Main problem is our fans don't have any say in the next managerial appointment & no longer have trust in the hierarchy of our club to make the right call.
I & countless fans are screaming for them not to appoint Garde but our pleas & exhortations will fall on deaf ears. UTV. |

Posted - 10/29/2015 : 17:00:47 Think with the number of new French players, he is a good option, will understand there thinking and speak their language. In reality would struggle to get a proven prem manager except Rodgers or Moyes, both of which i dont fancy. |

Posted - 10/29/2015 : 16:57:45 Look at Garde's history, not a bad option IMO - I would prefer him to Rogers, especially the number of French players we have at Villa park now! |

Posted - 10/29/2015 : 16:56:02 Yeah wouldn't surprise me if we'd had him in mind for a manager for a long time. Long term in theory it's a brilliant move, following in Arsenal's foot steps. My only worry is if he does come - can he organise the team quickly enough to stay up. If he does I think he'll do really well for the future x |
